World Down Syndrome Day - 2021-03-21
What is World Down Syndrome Day?
In March, people with Down Syndrome have a voice. It’s a time to gather and speak up about the disorder that affects so many people. The goal is to educate the public on the importance of a positive outlook on a genetic disorder. They can also show their support for friends and family members who have Down Syndrome. Down syndrome has always been a naturally occurring chromosomal arrangement in the human condition. It is found in all regions of the world and commonly affects learning styles, physical characteristics, and overall health. In order to ensure proper growth and development, social learning programs must integrate children with Down syndrome. Down syndrome sufferers have a voice. They are very loud and they are speaking up for their rights. They want to be included in communities. This is a positive thing.
